Active membership is open to Building Commissioners, Inspectors of Buildings, and Local Inspectors. Active members vote on association business, can hold office, and have full access to every meeting and event. MBCIA is a building officials' association, and this is the only level that sets its direction.
Industry Member
Code Access for the People Who Build to It
$150/yr Dues, $25 1st Year Initiation Fee
Industry membership is for contractors, CSL holders, architects, engineers, trades, suppliers, and municipal staff who work alongside building officials. You get the same access to MBCIA's classes, events and resources that every member gets.
Industry members do not vote or hold office. MBCIA is named in state regulation as a voice for building officials, and that role stays with them.
