Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, 5+ years of experience in building construction or design supervision, MA Construction Supervisors License, Certified as a Local Inspector within 12 months of appointment, Valid Drivers License, Advanced degree in a related field
In-depth knowledge of building and construction phases, Proficient in state and local building codes, Experience with office software (word processing, spreadsheets), Strong leadership and communication abilities, Excellent judgment and decision-making skills, Ability to manage conflict and build relationships, Familiarity with architectural access codes, energy conservation requirements, Understanding of zoning bylaws
