Certification as an Inspector of Buildings / Building Commissioner under 780 CMR 110.R7, Valid MA Driver's License, 7-10 years of construction and supervisory experience, Bachelor's Degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field, Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience providing necessary knowledge and skills.
Knowledge of zoning bylaws, building codes, and inspection protocols, Proficiency in standard office equipment and relevant software for inspections and record-keeping, Excellent communication skills for diverse stakeholder engagement, Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, Ability to manage multiple projects effectively, Understanding of conservation and historic preservation concepts.
