Associate's or Bachelor's degree in construction, civil engineering, or a related field, Seven to ten years of progressive experience in building trades and general contracting, Minimum five years as a building inspector, zoning administrator, or code enforcement officer, Certification by the Board of Building Regulations and Standards, Valid driver's license, Excellent interpersonal and computer skills, Ability to perform physical inspections in various weather conditions, Advanced certifications in building inspection or zoning enforcement.
