EOHLC is hosting Protected Use ADU office hours to assist cities and towns in understanding Massachusetts' new Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) law, effective February 2, 2025. Under the Affordable Homes Act, this law allows for the by-right establishment of ADUs up to 900 square feet in single-family zoning districts, addressing critical housing needs. These sessions are designed for municipal planners, volunteer planning board members, consultants, and RPA staff, offering a valuable opportunity for engagement and clarification on the new regulations.
